Question by My heart Is In Ohio: What individuals, events and symbols do you think I should include in my project?

I have to make a poster. I need to identify individuals, events or symbols that have contributed to the development of Canada. Does anyone have and good ideas?

You would definitely put the Canadian flag on your poster.

You could put a map showing its diversity. Canada is the world's second largest country. The Great Lakes.

Canada's population is very diverse. According to the 2001 census about 20% report being of British descent, about 16% of French descent, and about 3% of North American Indian (First Nations) descent.

Terrance Stanley "Terry" Fox, CC (July 28, 1958 รข€" June 28, 1981) was a Canadian humanitarian, athlete, and cancer treatment activist. He became famous for the Marathon of Hope, a cross-Canada run to raise money for cancer research, which Fox ran with one prosthetic leg. He is considered one of Canada's greatest heroes and is celebrated internationally every September as people participate in the Terry Fox Run, the world's largest one-day fundraiser for cancer research. In 2004, Terry Fox was voted 2nd place on the The Greatest Canadian.
